Regular Season Round 22: Sakarya BSB - Bursaspor 85-65

TBL top team - Sakarya BSB (19-3) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed fifth ranked Bursaspor (15-7) in Sakaraya 85-65. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Bursaspor. Sakarya BSB shot the lights out from three nailing 14 long-distance shots on high 56.0 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. American C.J. Harris (191-91, college: Wake Forest, agency: Pensack Sports) scored 13 points and 8 assists to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Yigitcan Turna (187-87) chipped in 21 points (perfect from downtown making all six shots !!!) during the contest. Four Sakarya BSB players scored in double figures. At the losing side Serbian power forward Dejan Borovnjak (207-86, agency: BeoBasket) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds and forward Sahin Ekmen (203-89) scored 16 points. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Sakarya BSB have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 19-3 record. Newly promoted Bursaspor keeps the fifth place with seven games lost. They share the position with Acibadem. Sakarya BSB will play against Acibadem (#5) in Istanbul in the next round. Bursaspor will play at home against Akhisar Bld and hopes to get back on the winning track.
