Regular Season Round 22: Socar Petkim - Eskisehir Basket 75-65

An interesting game for Socar Petkim (17-5) which hosted in Petkim their biggest opponent Eskisehir Basket (18-4). Third ranked Socar Petkim managed to get a 10-point victory 75-65. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Eskisehir Basket. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard T.J. Campbell (175-88, college: Portland) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 5 assists. Swingman Polat Kaya (197-86) contributed with 14 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four Socar Petkim players scored in double figures. Guard Yunus Sonsirma (192-92) replied with 11 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and American swingman Sean Marshall (198-85, college: Boston Coll.) added 15 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Eskisehir Basket. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Socar Petkim have an impressive 11-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 17-5 record having just two points less than leader Sakarya BSB. Eskisehir Basket at the other side keeps the second place with four games lost. Socar Petkim are looking forward to face Yalova Bld (#12) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Eskisehir Basket will play against Duzce Belediye (#13) and is hoping to win this game.
