Very predictable result when second ranked Limburg (13-5) won against on the road 11th ranked Saarlouis/Dillingen (5-13) 89-85 on Saturday. They outrebounded Saarlouis/Dillingen 48-33 including 37 on the defensive glass. It was a very good performance for American forward Tim Weber (203-93, college: S.Oregon) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points, 16 rebounds and 6 assists. Croatian center Dragan Sekelja (213-91, college: Florida Atlantic) contributed with 23 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four Limburg players scored in double figures. Dutch swingman Chaed Wellian (203-92, college: Tennessee St.) answered with 37 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 4 assists and American guard Lindsey Hughey (190-89, college: Weber St.) added 16 points, 11 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals in the effort for Saarlouis/Dillingen. Limburg maintains second place in South-West with 13-5 record despite having the same number of points like the leader Coburg. Newly promoted Saarlouis/Dillingen dropped to the thirteenth position with 13 games lost. Limburg will face Tuebingen II (#10) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Saarlouis/Dillingen will play against Karlsruhe SC and hope to win that game.
