Important game to mention about took place in Botevgrad. Sixth ranked Spartak Pleven (7-8) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging 3rd placed Balkan (9-6) 79-78 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Balkan. Montenegrin-Serbian center Milovan Savic (205-87) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds for the winners and power forward Dimitar Marincheshki (200-90) chipped in 13 points and 13 rebounds. Montenegrin center Mihailo Sekulovic (206-91) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and Montenegrin guard Amin Hott (192-92) scored 18 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Spartak Pleven maintains sixth place with 7-8 record. Balkan at the other side keeps the third position with six games lost. They share it with Beroe. Spartak Pleven will play against Cherno More (#7) in Varna in the next round. Balkan will play on the road against Beroe (#4) in Stara Zagora and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
