It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Lukoil Acad.. American players dominated the game. Forward D.J. Shelton (208-91, college: Washington St.) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 12 rebounds. Forward Evan Bruinsma (202-92, college: Detroit Mercy, agency: Inception Sports) contributed with 14 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Rilski players scored in double figures. Center Steve Zack (211-92, college: La Salle) answered with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 17 rebounds and guard Anthony Beane (188-94, college: S.Illinois) added 20 points in the effort for Lukoil Acad.Lukoil Acad.'s coach Toni Dechev rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Rilski maintains fifth place with 8-7 record. Defending champion Lukoil Acad. still keeps top position with three games lost. Rilski are looking forward to face league's second-placed Academik Plovdiv at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Lukoil Acad. will have a break next round.
