Regular Season Round 19: Herzogenaurach - Leitershofen 81-64

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 12th ranked Topstar (5-13) lost on the road to thirteenth ranked Herzogenaurach (4-14) 81-64 on Saturday. It was a very good performance for Robert Zinn (197-95) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists. Moritz Sanders (211-98) contributed with 9 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners. Naturalized Bosnian power forward Nedim Hadzovic (205-90) answered with 13 points and 5 rebounds (made all of his ten free throws !!!) and guard Nicolas Francois Breuer (185-94) added 10 points in the effort for Topstar. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Herzogenaurach maintains thirteenth place in South-East with 4-14 record. Loser Topstar keeps the twelfth position with 13 games lost. Herzogenaurach will face higher ranked Rosenheim (#9) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
