Regular Season Round 12: Tim-Scuf - Dynamo-NPU 93-63

Date: February 5, 2017
There was no surprise in Kyiv where 6th ranked Dynamo-NPU (7-7) was crushed by second ranked Tim-Scuf (14-1) 93-63 on Sunday. The game without a history. Tim-Scuf led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international center Miriam Uro-Nile (188-94, agency: LBM Management) who had a double-double by scoring 29 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Olga Krayevska (171-94) chipped in 22 points and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Nataliia Tsiubyk (178-98) who recorded 12 points and 5 assists and American center Jasmine Peeples (188, college: Alabama St.) added 13 points respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Tim-Scuf have an impressive 12-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Avangard. Loser Dynamo-NPU keeps the sixth place with seven games lost. Tim-Scuf will face Interkhim (#3) in Odessa in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Dynamo-NPU will play at home against Suzirja and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
