Regular Season Round 21: BC Timisoara - CSU Sibiu 72-73

The most exciting game of round 21 in the Liga Nationala took place in Timisoara. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of 5th ranked BC Timisoara (12-8) to third ranked CSU Sibiu (13-6) 73-72 in the game for the third place. They maintain third place with 13-6 record having four points less than leader UBT Cluj Napoca. BC Timisoara at the other side dropped to the fourth position with eight games lost. They share it with Pitesti. CSU Sibiu are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Olimpic (#11) in Baia Mare in the next round and are hoping to win another game. BC Timisoara will have a break next round.
