Very expected game in Paderborn where 16th ranked Titans (2-20) were defeated by eleventh ranked Uni Baskets (10-12) 82-72 on Saturday. Uni Baskets looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Forward Till Gloger (204-93, college: Maine) fired 19 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. American point guard Chase Adams (177-88, college: Pittsburgh) chipped in 19 points, 7 assists and 4 steals. Helge Baues (205-94) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and American point guard RJ Price (180-93, college: Radford) added 13 points and 8 assists respectively for lost side. Five Titans players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Uni Baskets moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Hamburg. Titans lost sixth consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay dead last with 20 lost games. Uni Baskets will face higher ranked Oettinger Rockets Gotha (#7) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Titans will play against Ehingen/Urspringschule (#13) and hope to win that game.
