Regular Season Round 22: Ehingen - ETB Wohnbau 75-74

A very interesting game took place in Allmendingen. It ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 15th ranked ETB Wohnbau (5-17) to fourteenth ranked Ehingen/Urspringschule (7-15) 75-74 on Saturday evening. Ehingen/Urspringschule players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Scottish forward Alasdair Fraser (201-92, college: Maine, agency: Court Side) notched 16 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort and American forward Daniel Berger (203-90, college: BYU-Hawaii, agency: Three Eye Sports) supported him with 16 points. Even a double-double of 14 points and 14 rebounds (made all of his nine free throws !!!) by American forward Eric Thompson (204-93, college: Pacific) did not help to save the game for ETB Wohnbau. His fellow American import point guard Chris Alexander (186-83, college: Southern) added 21 points and 4 assists for lost side. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Ehingen/Urspringschule moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Baunach. ETB Wohnbau lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fifteenth position with 17 games lost. Ehingen/Urspringschule's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked Titans (#16) in Dresden. ETB Wohnbau will play at home against MLP Academics Heidelberg and hope to win that game.
