Sixth-ranked Adana ASKI (8-9) gave a tough game to fourth ranked Abdullah Gul (12-4) in Kayseri on Saturday. Abdullah Gul managed to secure only one-point victory 61-60. However their fans expected easier game. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Adana ASKI. The best player for the winners was Tanisha Wright (180-83, college: Penn St., agency: LBM Management) who scored 13 points and 8 rebounds. American guard Chelsea Gray (180-92, college: Duke) chipped in 6 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Israeli-American forward Alysha Clark (178-87, college: Middle Tenn.St.) produced 15 points and 7 rebounds and American power forward Avery Warley (190-87, college: Liberty) added 10 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests. Four Adana ASKI players scored in double figures. Abdullah Gul have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain fourth place with 12-4 record. Loser Adana ASKI dropped to the tenth position with nine games lost. Abdullah Gul will meet league's leader Fenerbahce in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
