Regular Season Round 28: Dnipro - Budivelnyk 60-76

An interesting game for Budivelnyk (20-2) which played road game in Dnepropetrovsk against one of their biggest challengers Dnipro (16-6). Second ranked Budivelnyk had an easy win 76-60. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Dnipro. It was a very close game until the last quarter, when Budivelnyk's pressure prevailed and they won that period 24-12 extending their advantage to 16 points. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Henry Dugat (183-87, college: Baylor) who helped to win the game recording 22 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. The other American import swingman DJ Stephens (198-90, college: Memphis) contributed with 16 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. The former international forward Stanislav Tymofeyenko (202-89, agency: Octagon Europe) replied with 19 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and international Olexandr Mishula (192-92) added 6 points and 9 assists in the effort for Dnipro. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Budivelnyk have an impressive 12-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 20-2 record having just one victory less than leader Khimik. Dnipro at the other side keeps the third place with six games lost. They share the position with Kryvbas. Budivelnyk are looking forward to face league's leader Khimik in Yuzhny in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Dnipro will have a break next round.
