The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Horsens IC (19-3) in Copenhagen on Thursday night. Visitors were defeated by sixth ranked SISU (10-13) 91-86. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Horsens IC. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. They outrebounded Horsens IC 54-38 including 18 on the offensive glass. 30 personal fouls committed by Horsens IC helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for American forward Tanner McGrew (203-93, college: W.Virg.Wesl., agency: Duran International) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 18 rebounds. Ivorian forward Adjehi Baru (206-91, college: Charleston) contributed with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. International guard Gabriel Lundberg (193-94) replied with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 12 rebounds and 9 assists and Bosnian swingman Vedran Borovcanin (200-85) added 17 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Horsens IC. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Horsens IC's coach Arnel Dedic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. SISU have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain sixth position with 10-13 record. Defending champion Horsens IC still keeps top place with three games lost. SISU are looking forward to face league's second-placed Bakken in Aarhus in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Horsens IC will play at home against Svendborg and is hoping to win this game.
