Very predictable result when seventh ranked Bodrum (18-7) defeated on the road 15th ranked Yalova Vip (10-16) 78-72 on Saturday. Bodrum forced 19 Yalova Vip turnovers. American guard Shay Selby (175-90, college: Duke) scored 31 points and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the former international swingman Nihan Anaz (172-79, agency: 1x1 Sports) chipped in 11 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Serbian power forward Bojana Vulic (191-84, agency: Promotex) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and forward Ebru Torun (-87) scored 15 points and 6 assists. Four Bodrum and five Yalova Vip players scored in double figures. Newly promoted Bodrum maintains seventh position with 18-7 record. Loser Yalova Vip dropped to the fourteenth place with 16 games lost. Bodrum will face Nevsehir Uni (#18) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Yalova Vip will play against Edremit (#3) in Balikesir and hope to win that game.
