There was no surprise when 9th ranked Lusitania (5-15) was crushed on the road by third ranked Benfica (15-5) 100-65 on Saturday. Benfica outrebounded Lusitania 38-24 including a 29-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 17 long-distance shots on high 53.1 percentage. Benfica looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists comparing to just 18 passes made by Lusitania's players.
