Not a big story in a game in Angra Heroismo where 5th ranked CAB Madeira (10-6) was defeated by second ranked Boa Viagem (13-5) 62-55. Americans were the main players on the court. It was an exceptional evening for swingman Alexis Govan (178-93, college: W.Kentucky) who led the winners and scored 22 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Center Daina Grazulis (190, college: Davenport) accounted for 15 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side. Forward Maria Blazejewski (185-91, college: L.Superior) came up with 18 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Chelsie Schweers (170-89, college: Chris.Newport) added 12 points and 8 rebounds respectively for CAB Madeira in the defeat. The victory was the seventh consecutive win for Boa Viagem. They maintain second place with 13-5 record having just two point less than leader Olivais. CAB Madeira at the other side dropped to the sixth position with six games lost. Boa Viagem will play against league's leader Olivais in Coimbra in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. CAB Madeira will play at home against Lousada (#12) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
