Top ranked Suduva-Mantinga (29-8) recorded its eighth loss in Raseiniai on Thursday night. Visitors were rolled over by fourth ranked Rasai (23-14) 85-64. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 7-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 85-64. Rasai looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Point guard Tomas Galeckas (183-94) fired 23 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. Forward Andrius Aleksandrovas (197-86) chipped in 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Rasai players scored in double figures. American forward Kinu Rochford (195-90, college: Fair Dickinson) produced 17 points and 6 rebounds and French Rytis Juknevicius (187-93, agency: Players Group) added 13 points respectively for lost side. Suduva-Mantinga's coach Marius Kiltinavicius gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Rasai have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Telsiai. Suduva-Mantinga at the other side still keeps top position with eight games lost. Rasai is looking forward to face Silute (#7) on the road in the next round. Suduva-Mantinga will play against Telsiai (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
