Tenth-ranked Delikatesas (15-22) made lots of trouble for eighth ranked Zalgiris II (22-15) in Kaunas. Zalgiris II managed to secure only three-point victory 83-80. However their fans expected easier game. The hosts were already 11 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 23-15 Delikatesas' run in the last quarter cut the lead to 83-80 at the end of the game. Zalgiris II made 19-of-23 charity shots (82.6 percent) during the game. Guard Kristupas Zemaitis (192-96) nailed a double-double by scoring 14 points, 8 rebounds and 13 assists for the winning side and power forward Laurynas Birutis (213-97) accounted for 17 points and 8 rebounds. Swingman Zilvinas Petraitis (194-88) came up with 19 points, 6 assists and 5 steals and guard Mantas Kadzevicius (194-91) added 8 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists respectively for Delikatesas in the defeat. Five Zalgiris II and four Delikatesas players scored in double figures. Zalgiris II have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain eighth place with 22-15 record. Delikatesas at the other side keeps the tenth position with 22 games lost. Zalgiris II's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Kaunas KTU.
