Regular Season Round 15: Blyskavky - Interkhim 59-63

There was no surprise in Vinnytsia where 6th ranked Blyskavky (11-9) was defeated by third ranked Interkhim (12-5) 63-59 on Saturday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Blyskavky won third quarter 15-10. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was swingman Svitlana Kolibabchuk (189-87) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Natalia Kolotovska (173-90) chipped in 8 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international power forward Tetyana Yurkevicius (187-95) who recorded 6 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists and Iryna Zhmurko (185-96) added 13 points and 4 assists respectively. Defending champion maintains third place with 12-5 record having six points less than leader Tim-Scuf. Loser Blyskavky dropped to the fifth position with nine games lost. Interkhim will face league's second-placed Avangard in Kyiv in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
