The game with biggest result difference took place in Keltern. Local Gruner Stern Keltern (16-3) outscored 6th ranked Fireballs (9-10) 70-50. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Fireballs. The game was mostly controlled by Gruner Stern Keltern. Fireballs was better in fourth quarter 13-10. American guard Lindsay Sherbert (184, college: Gonzaga) answered with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds and the other American import forward Ali Forde (188, college: Idaho) added 9 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Fireballs. Gruner Stern Keltern maintains second place with 16-3 record behind leader Wasserburg. Newly promoted Fireballs keep the sixth position with ten games lost. They share it with Hannover. Gruner Stern Keltern will play against TH Wohnbau Angels (#10) in Noerdlingen in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Fireballs will play at home against Eisvogel Freiburg (#11) and hope to get back on the winning track.
