It was an exceptional evening for the former international point guard Nelli Dietrich (169-89) who led the winners and scored 14 points and 8 assists. Lyndi Laborn accounted for 12 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side. Four Rhein Main Baskets players scored in double figures. Center Laura Zdravevska (185-97) came up with 14 points and 7 rebounds and Canadian guard Stephanie Kleysen (178, college: Winnipeg) added 8 points and 11 rebounds respectively for Ladybaskets Wuerzburg in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Rhein Main Baskets maintains fifth place in South with 10-7 record. Ladybaskets Wuerzburg at the other side keeps the third position with six games lost. They share it with Bad Hombur. Rhein Main Baskets will play against Speyer / Schifferstadt (#7) in Dudenhofen in the next round. Ladybaskets Wuerzburg will play on the road against Weiterstadt (#6) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
