Everything went according to plan when eleventh ranked Ferko Ilgaz (14-14) defeated on the road 16th ranked Yalova Vip (10-18) 67-60 on Tuesday. Quite impressive performance for guard Melek Yusufoglu (168-94) who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Center Neslihan Ozkan (-93) contributed with 10 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Ferko Ilgaz players scored in double figures. Forward Ebru Torun (-87) replied with 18 points and forward Banu Yillar (172-78) added 15 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Yalova Vip. Ferko Ilgaz moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Urla BLD. Yalova Vip lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fifteenth position with 18 games lost. Ferko Ilgaz will face Nevsehir Uni (#18) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Yalova Vip will play against TED Ankara and hope to win that game.
