Regular Season Round 21: Lemvig - Horsholm 81-74

Very important is a road loss of second ranked Horsholm (13-5) against fourth ranked Lemvig (9-9) on Saturday night. Visiting Horsholm was defeated by Lemvig in a tough game in Lemvig 74-81. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 23-10. But Horsholm won second period 23-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great shooting night for Lemvig especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. It was a good game for American Sarah DeShone (, college: Ferris St.) who led her team to a victory with 25 points and 6 rebounds. Her fellow American import forward Erin McDonnell (185-93, college: Harvard) contributed with 23 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Guard Sara Pedersen (172-95) answered with 18 points and 6 rebounds and forward Line Piechnik (171-90) added 18 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Horsholm. Four Lemvig and five Horsholm players scored in double figures. Horsholm's coach Jesper Krone Rasmussen tested twelve players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Lemvig maintains fourth place with 9-9 record. Horsholm at the other side keeps the second position with five games lost.
