There was no surprise when 9th ranked Schwabing (9-12) lost on the road to fourth ranked Vilsbiburg (14-7) 82-67 on Saturday. Vilsbiburg forced 29 Schwabing turnovers. American-Czech point guard John Boyer (185-88, college: Buffalo, agency: Dynamics Global Management) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 7 rebounds, 13 assists and 4 steals. American swingman Kendall Timmons (195-90, college: Tulane) contributed with 19 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Boyer is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas. Four Vilsbiburg players scored in double figures. Oscar Da-Silva (207-98) answered with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 10 rebounds and 6 blocks and power forward Fynn Fischer (204-99) added 10 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Schwabing. Schwabing's coach Robert Scheinberg rotated ten players saving starting five for next games. Vilsbiburg have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain fourth place in South-East with 14-7 record. Schwabing lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with 12 games lost.
