There was no surprise when 8th ranked Kaiserslautern (9-13) lost on the road to third ranked Karlsruhe SC (15-7) 104-87 on Saturday. Karlsruhe SC dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Kaiserslautern's 36. They outrebounded Kaiserslautern 48-15 including a 16-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Karlsruhe SC looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Kaiserslautern's players. Portuguese point guard Miguel Cardoso (188-93) orchestrated the victory with a triple-double by scoring 23 points, 13 rebounds and 13 assists. Bosnian power forward Elnis Prasovic (203-84) contributed with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners.
