Strangely Kakanj outrebounded Sloboda Tuzla 36-22 including 24 on the defensive glass. Kakanj was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was the former international Almir Hasandic (191-90) who scored 27 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Enes Latifagic (200-92, agency: BeoExcell) chipped in 13 points. Croatian swingman Zeljko Palavra (194-82) produced 16 points and swingman Dejan Sakotic (195-93) added 13 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Sloboda Tuzla. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Spars Sarajevo. Loser Kakanj keeps the fifth position with eight games lost. Sloboda Tuzla will face Bosnjak (#9) in Hadzici in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Kakanj will play at home against the league's second-placed Spars Sarajevo (#2) and hope to win that game.
