Regular Season Round 20: Zolotoi Vek - Dnipro-2 112-75

The game between Top Four teams took place in Kirovograd. First ranked host Zolotoi Vek (20-4) smashed 3rd ranked Dnipro-2 (11-13) 112-75. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Dnipro-2. The game was mostly controlled by Zolotoi Vek. Dnipro-2 managed to win third quarter 22-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Zolotoi Vek forced 19 Dnipro-2 turnovers and outrebounded them 36-21 including 22 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was power forward Andriy Kulish (205-92) who scored 23 points, 6 rebounds and 4 blocks (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Gleb Buzko (192-92) chipped in 12 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Five Zolotoi Vek players scored in double figures. Forward Olexandr Tarasenko (199-96) produced 21 points and 8 rebounds and guard Stanislav Masalskiy (190-95) added 19 points and 6 assists respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Zolotoi Vek maintains first position with 20-4 record, which they share with Krivbas-2. Newly promoted Dnipro-2 dropped to the fourth place with 13 games lost. They share the position with Niko-Basket.
