We should mention about the upset which took place in Goettingen, where higher ranked ALBA Berlin (15-9) lost to thirteenth ranked BG Goettingen (9-15) in a road game 76-81 on Sunday. BG Goettingen looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman Alex Ruoff (198-86, college: W.Virginia, agency: Inception Sports) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 6 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and the other American import power forward Scott Eatherton (203-91, college: Northeastern, agency: BeoBasket) who added 8 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was Bosnian center Elmedin Kikanovic (211-88, agency: BeoBasket) with 24 points and Serbian swingman Dragan Milosavljevic (198-89) scored 16 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. BG Goettingen moved-up to twelfth place. Loser ALBA Berlin keeps the fifth position with nine games lost. BG Goettingen will meet at home higher ranked BBC Bayreuth (#4) in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
