Regular Season Round 27: Koeln Rh.Stars - Ehingen 70-65

Rather predictable result when tenth ranked Koeln Rh.Stars (13-14) defeated at home 13th ranked Ehingen/Urspringschule (9-19) 70-65 on Thursday. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. It was a great evening for point guard Richard Williams (178-87, college: San Diego St., agency: HMS) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Guard Hugh Robertson (195-89, college: S.Florida) helped adding 20 points and 9 rebounds. Four Koeln Rh.Stars players scored in double figures. Koeln Rh.Stars' coach Arne Woltmann used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was point guard Devon Moore (193-89, college: JMU) with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Kameron Taylor (198-94, college: Seton Hill) scored 12 points and 6 rebounds. Koeln Rh.Stars moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Uni Baskets and Hanau. Ehingen/Urspringschule lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the thirteenth position with 19 games lost. Koeln Rh.Stars will face Hamburg (#11) on the road in the next round. Ehingen/Urspringschule will play against Baunach and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
