The game in Kaunas was also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Fortuna (14-10) played at the court of 5th ranked Aistes-LSU (8-16). Fortuna defeated Aistes-LSU 90-75 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by Fortuna. Aistes-LSU managed to win third quarter 20-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Fortuna looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. International center Justina Matuzonyte (198-94) nailed a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side and forward Lina Mikeleviciene (182-87) accounted for 23 points and 7 rebounds. Klaudija Serkeviciute (170-99) came up with 25 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists and guard Dovile Saurazaite (174-92) added 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for Aistes-LSU in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the third consecutive win for Fortuna. They moved-up to third place, which they share with H-Sirenos. Aistes-LSU lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the fifth position with 16 games lost.
