Regular Season Round 25: Giessen 46ers - Bremerhaven 88-84
Date: March 11, 2017
Very predictable result when ninth ranked Giessen 46ers (11-13) won against at home 14th ranked Eisbaeren Bremerhaven (6-17) 88-84 on Saturday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Giessen 46ers made 28-of-33 free shots (84.8 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Eisbaeren Bremerhaven turnovers. American players dominated the game. Forward Dwayne Evans (201-92, college: St.Louis) nailed a double-double by scoring 23 points and 16 rebounds (made all of his thirteen free throws !!!) for the winning side and point guard Cameron Wells (186-88, college: Citadel) accounted for 13 points.
