Regular Season Round 27: Hanau - ETB Wohnbau 55-77

An interesting game took place in Hanau where higher ranked White Wings (13-14) were upset on its own court by fifteenth ranked ETB Wohnbau (7-20) 77-55 on Saturday. ETB Wohnbau outrebounded White Wings 38-23 including a 26-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for forward Jannik Lodders (198-92) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points and 7 rebounds. American Maurice Creek (196-90, college: G.Washington) helped adding 18 points and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was American forward Kruize Pinkins (203-93, college: USF) with 12 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import point guard Eugene Harris (187-86, college: High Point) scored 13 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. ETB Wohnbau maintains fifteenth place with 7-20 record. Loser White Wings dropped to the eighth position with 14 games lost. ETB Wohnbau will face higher ranked Gladiators (#7) in Trier in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
