Regular Season Round 24: Koblenz - Limburg 85-64

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both fourth ranked Koblenz and 6th ranked Limburg had identical 14-8 record. This time Koblenz used a home court advantage and crushed the opponent from Limburg 85-64 on Saturday night. It was a great shooting night for Koblenz especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 53.3 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of Croatian point guard Zeljko Novak (184-89) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and British Louis Sayers (199-92) who added 16 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Four Koblenz players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Lithuanian point guard Julius Zurna (188-86) with 19 points and 7 rebounds and Croatian center Dragan Sekelja (213-91, college: Florida Atlantic) scored 21 points and 7 rebounds. Koblenz (15-8) moved-up to third place in South-West. Limburg lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the fifth position with nine games lost. Koblenz will face league's second-placed Karlsruhe SC on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Limburg will play against Mainz and hope to win that game.
