Second Stage Round 8: Vasco - Dragon Force 61-49

Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Porto: Vasco (#7) and Dragon Force (#2). Vasco (2-6) won against visiting Dragon Force (5-2) 61-49. Vasco forced 22 Dragon Force turnovers. The winners were led by guard Guilherme Sequeira (190-95) who scored that evening 19 points and 8 rebounds and Spanish forward Raul Fernandez (190-94) supported him with 13 points. Even 11 points and 7 rebounds by forward Agenor Rolo (193-95) did not help to save the game for Dragon Force. Power forward Diogo Araujo (201-97) added 8 points and 9 rebounds for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Vasco moved-up to sixth place in Places 1-8, which they share with Esgueira. Dragon Force at the other side dropped to the third position with two games lost. Vasco's next round opponent will be Academico FC (#8). Dragon Force will play against Esgueira / Oli (#7) and hope to win that game.
