Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Istanbul: Fenerbahce (#1) and Galatasaray (#6). Galatasaray was defeated at home 75-79 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. International point guard Bobby Dixon (178-83, college: Troy, agency: BeoBasket) nailed 16 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winning side and Serbian swingman Bogdan Bogdanovic (198-92) accounted for 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. German center Tibor Pleiss (217-89) came up with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 14 rebounds and Serbian forward Vladimir Micov (201-85, agency: BeoBasket) added 15 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for Galatasaray in the defeat. Four Fenerbahce and five Galatasaray players scored in double figures. Fenerbahce (19-2) have an impressive series of twelve victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place, which they share with Anadolu Efes. Galatasaray at the other side keeps the sixth position with nine games lost. Fenerbahce will play against Demir IBB (#14) in Buyukcekmece in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Galatasaray will play on the road against Besiktas (#3) in Istanbul and hopes to get back on the winning track.
