Second Stage Round 4: UBT Cluj Napoca - CSU Sibiu 92-75

The game between Top Four teams took place in Cluj Napoca. First ranked host UBT Cluj Napoca (19-3) defeated their biggest opponent CSU Sibiu (14-8) 92-75. The hosts trailed by 5 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 92-75. At the losing side American guard Kevin Hardy (188-93, college: McNeese St.) responded with 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and Montenegrin center Boris Lalovic (207-81) scored 20 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. UBT Cluj Napoca maintains first position with 19-3 record. CSU Sibiu at the other side keeps the second place with eight games lost. They share the position with Steaua CSM. UBT Cluj Napoca are looking forward to face league's second-placed Steaua CSM in Bucuresti in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. CSU Sibiu will play on the road against Oradea and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
