An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Wels. First ranked Redwell Gunners Oberwart faced 4th placed Raiffeisen Wels. Guests from Oberwart (22-4) smashed host Raiffeisen Wels (13-13) 81-57. The game without a history. Redwell Gunners Oberwart led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Raiffeisen Wels' 28. The best player for the winners was American forward Jamari Traylor (203-92, college: Kansas) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Chris McNealy (194-92, college: Cal-Irvine) chipped in 20 points and 5 assists. Four Redwell Gunners Oberwart players scored in double figures. Slovenian forward Dejan Cigoja (205-88) produced 16 points and 5 rebounds and the former international Davor Lamesic (205-83, agency: Interperformances) added 11 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
