NBL top team - Haskovo 2012 (11-3) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed fifth ranked Septemvri (0-14) 128-71. Haskovo 2012 dominated down low during the game scoring 86 of its points in the paint compared to Septemvri's 44. Haskovo 2012 forced 25 Septemvri turnovers and had a 39-23 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 37 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by Septemvri's players. Delyana Koeva (182-86) nailed a double-double by scoring 21 points, 18 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals for the winning side and international Violina Kocheva (175-91) accounted for 24 points and 12 assists (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field). Five Haskovo 2012 players scored in double figures. Guard Ivona Ilieva (176-98) came up with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 7 rebounds, 11 assists and 4 steals and Camellia Andonova (177-98) added 19 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Septemvri in the defeat. Septemvri's coach Aleksandar Apostolov gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Haskovo 2012 maintains first place with 11-3 record. Septemvri at the other side still closes the standings with 14 games lost. Haskovo 2012 will play against Beroe (#3) in Stara Zagora in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Septemvri will play at home against the league's second-placed Montana 2003 and hopes to get finally their first victory.
