Sloboda Tuzla used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Sarajevo 91-82 on Saturday night. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 91-82. The former international Almir Hasandic (191-90) fired 24 points for the winners. Power forward Mirza Hrncic (209-86) chipped in 15 points. Sloboda Tuzla's coach Velimir Gasic used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Serbian swingman Maksim Kovacevic (196-87, agency: SPORTlab Agency) produced 25 points and Serbian center Stefan Djordjevic (206-89) added 16 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four Spars Sarajevo players scored in double figures. Sloboda Tuzla will meet Zrinjski HT in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Spars Sarajevo will play against Igokea (#5) in Aleksandrovac and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
