Regular Season Round 32: Cankaya - Ormanspor 62-63

The most exciting game of round 32 in the TKBL took place in Ankara. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of 4th ranked Cankaya (23-8) to second ranked Ormanspor (26-6) 63-62 on Saturday evening. Ormanspor forced 20 Cankaya turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Serife Onar (167-96) who helped to win the game recording 12 points and 6 assists and Nigerian-American center Aisha Mohammed (191-85, college: Virginia) who added 6 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Ormanspor's coach Furkan Saglik used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American-Azerbaijani center Marcedes-Marie Walker (191-86, college: Pittsburgh) responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds and Hande Celebi (-90) scored 17 points and 5 rebounds. Four Cankaya players scored in double figures. Ormanspor maintains second position with 26-6 record having five points less than leader Bornova, which they share with Edremit. Cankaya at the other side keeps the fourth place with eight games lost. They share the position with Bodrum. Ormanspor is looking forward to face Mersin Uni (#6) at home in the next round. Cankaya will play against Mersin Kurtulus and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
