We should mention about the upset which took place in Noerdlingen, where higher ranked Fireballs (11-11) lost to tenth ranked TH Wohnbau Angels (8-14) in a road game 74-86. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Fireballs. The game was mostly controlled by TH Wohnbau Angels. Fireballs was better in third quarter 22-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Fireballs 36-23 including 24 on the defensive glass. It was a great shooting night for TH Wohnbau Angels especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 56.3 percentage. Canadian forward Kim Pierre-Louis (183-93, college: Massachusetts) notched a double-double by scoring 18 points and 15 rebounds to lead the effort and American guard Jennifer Schlott (168-91, college: Utah St., agency: LBM Management) supported her with 23 points and 4 assists. TH Wohnbau Angels' coach Patrick Bar allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even a double-double of 16 points and 12 rebounds by American guard Lindsay Sherbert (184, college: Gonzaga) did not help to save the game for Fireballs. International point guard Lena-Marie Bradaric (166-93) added 18 points and 7 assists for lost side. Five Fireballs players scored in double figures. TH Wohnbau Angels moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Chemnitz. Newly promoted Fireballs keep the sixth position with 11 games lost.
