A very interesting game took place in Weiterstadt. It ended with only three-point home defeat of 6th ranked Weiterstadt (9-11) to ninth ranked Keltern II (7-13) 66-63 on Sunday evening. The guests were ahead by 3 points but lost the second period ending it with a 3-point deficit before their 18-12 run, which allowed them to win the game. Keltern II forced 23 Weiterstadt turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Vera Genten (172-97) who helped to win the game recording 10 points and 9 rebounds. American power forward Kristi Mokube (188-93, college: George Mason) contributed with 13 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Keltern II players scored in double figures. Guard Christina Krick (169) replied with 15 points and American guard Ashley Engeln (168-92, college: Concordia Irvine) added 10 points and 4 assists in the effort for Weiterstadt. Weiterstadt's coach Conrad Jackson rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Keltern II moved-up to eighth place in South, which they share with Speyer. Weiterstadt at the other side keeps the sixth position with 11 games lost.
