Regular Season Round 28: Yalova Bld - Bursaspor 68-71

Thirteenth-ranked Yalova Bld (10-18) used its home court advantage to challenge fourth ranked Bursaspor (21-7) on Sunday. The visitors from Bursa managed to secure only three-point victory 71-68. However their fans expected much easier game. The winners were led by Serbian power forward Dejan Borovnjak (207-86, agency: BeoBasket) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds and forward Sahin Ekmen (203-89) supported him with 15 points and 6 rebounds. Four Bursaspor players scored in double figures. Bursaspor's coach Semsettin Bas used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Even 17 points and 7 rebounds by forward Orcun Okkali (201-87) did not help to save the game for Yalova Bld. American guard Aubrey Coleman (193-87, college: Houston, agency: HMS) added 13 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. Bursaspor have an impressive six-game winning streak. Newly promoted Bursaspor maintains fourth position with 21-7 record. Yalova Bld at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the thirteenth place with 18 games lost. Bursaspor will meet at home Pertevniyal (#15) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Yalova Bld will play against Acibadem in Istanbul and hope to secure a win.
