No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Cankaya (24-8) smashed on the road 17th ranked Mersin Kurtulus (8-26) 73-45. Cankaya dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Mersin Kurtulus' 22. They outrebounded Mersin Kurtulus 45-31 including a 33-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Cankaya players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists.
