The game between closely ranked teams ended with fourth ranked Aschersleben's (13-6) road victory over 5th ranked Vechta-2 (11-8) 91-68 on Saturday. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Aschersleben maintains fourth position in North with 13-6 record. Loser Vechta-2 keeps the fifth place with eight games lost. Aschersleben will face Rendsburg (#7) on the road in the next round. Vechta-2 will play against Hannover Korb. and hope to win that game.
