Regular Season Round 29: MBC - Dresden 83-49

ProA top team - Mitteldeutscher BC (26-3) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed sixteenth ranked Titans (2-28) in Weissenfels 83-49. They outrebounded Titans 38-19 including 24 on the defensive glass. Mitteldeutscher BC players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Naturalized American forward Sergio Kerusch (195-89, college: W.Kentucky, agency: Octagon Europe) stepped up and scored 17 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and Canadian forward Tyson Hinz (201-91) chipped in 11 points and 8 rebounds. Mitteldeutscher BC's coach Igor Jovovic felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American point guard RJ Price (180-93, college: Radford) responded with 7 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and naturalized American swingman Jeremy Dunbar (195-88, college: Arkansas Tech) scored 10 points. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Mitteldeutscher BC. They maintain first place with 26-3 record. Titans lost their fourteenth game in a row. Newly promoted team stay dead last with 28 lost games. Mitteldeutscher BC will play against Uni Baskets (#9) in Paderborn in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Titans will play at home against Chemnitz (#3) and hope to get back on the winning track.
