Regular Season Round 26: Hertener Loewen - Dorsten 99-90

There was an upset when higher ranked Dorsten (13-12) lost on the road to tenth ranked Hertener Loewen (12-13) 99-90 on Saturday. British guard Kofi Josephs (198-91, college: Fort Lewis) orchestrated the victory by scoring 38 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Felix Neumann (201-90) contributed with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 18 rebounds for the winners. American David Golembiowski (203-89, college: SUNY Poly) replied with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 14 rebounds and center Nino Janoschek (204-87) added 20 points and 17 rebounds in the effort for Dorsten. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Hertener Loewen moved-up to eighth place in West, which they share with Salzkotten and Bonn II. Loser Dorsten dropped to the sixth position with 12 games lost. Hertener Loewen will face higher ranked Ibbenbueren (#5) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
