Everything went according to plan when third ranked Vilsbiburg (17-7) outplayed at home 12th ranked Zwickau (7-17) 119-91 on Sunday. Vilsbiburg forced 25 Zwickau turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. American-Czech point guard John Boyer (185-88, college: Buffalo, agency: Dynamics Global Management) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 6 rebounds, 16 assists and 6 steals. Czech center Lubos Novy (204-91) contributed with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners. Boyer is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Vilsbiburg players scored in double figures. Coach Holger Prote's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 10 players saving starting five for next games.
