Regular Season Round 23: Yesilgiresun - Anadolu Efes 76-84

Very predictable result when second ranked Anadolu Efes (21-2) won against 10th ranked Yesilgiresun Bld (9-14) in Giresun 84-76 on Sunday. It was an exceptional evening for international forward Cedi Osman (204-95) who led the winners and scored 17 points and 5 rebounds. American-Armenian center Bryant Dunston (203-86) accounted for 11 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side. Five Anadolu Efes players scored in double figures. American Ricky Ledo (201-92, college: Providence) came up with 28 points and 8 rebounds and the other American import Anthony Gill (203-92, college: Virginia) added 15 points (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) respectively for Yesilgiresun Bld in the defeat. The victory was the tenth consecutive win for Anadolu Efes. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Fenerbahce. Yesilgiresun Bld at the other side keeps the tenth place with 14 games lost. They share the position with Istanbul BBSK. Anadolu Efes will meet at home Gaziantep (#8) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Yesilgiresun Bld will play against Pinar Karsiyaka and hope to secure a win.
