No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Darussafaka (16-7) beat 13th ranked Usak Sportlif (7-16) in Istanbul 78-70 on Monday. Darussafaka forced 26 Usak Sportlif turnovers. American players dominated also this game. It was an exceptional evening for guard Scottie Wilbekin (188-93, college: Florida) who led the winners and scored 14 points and 6 assists. James Anderson (198-89, college: Oklahoma St.) accounted for 13 points for the winning side. Five Darussafaka players scored in double figures. DAngelo Harrison (193, college: St.John's, agency: Three Eye Sports) came up with 17 points and 4 assists and Shaquielle McKissic (196-90, college: Arizona St.) added 16 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Usak Sportlif in the defeat. The victory was the third consecutive win for Darussafaka. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Banvit BK. Usak Sportlif at the other side keeps the thirteenth position with 16 games lost. Darussafaka's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Istanbul to the arena Istanbul BBSK.
